Tere has been a broker in San Diego County for over 25 years. Tere's expertise is in providing employer groups with fully integrated Health and Retirement Benefit Packages. Tere is a face-to-face, hands-on broker with a problem solving attitude. Customer satisfaction is a must, and Tere has maintained some of WCGB's oldest clients because of her professional and comprehensive servicing of these groups.
Ana joined West Coast Group Benefits in 2018 with 20 + years of Employee Benefit/Account Management industry experience. Prior to joining the team at West Coast Benefits, Ana served as Director of Client Services for over 15 years. Ana provides services for Spanish Speaking Group Meetings and document translation as well as daily customer support, group renewal marketing, Ease Central implementation and maintenance.
Aurora has 10 years of insurance industry experience. She provides daily service support required to maintain new and current account satisfaction with products sold and administration of the same. She provides support for claims issues and maintains comprehensive knowledge of our client's benefits and plan options.
Yui joined West Coast Group Benefits in 2018 and provides administrative service for account satisfaction and retention for our team. She provides daily support for eligibility, benefit and claims inquiries in addition to providing an exceptional customer service experience.
Philip has over 20 years experience working with contractors in developing benefit programs to fit their individual needs. He is one of the foremost experts in Prevailing Wage benefit services for contractors. Philip currently sits on the Board of the ABC CCC and is the past Chairman of the ABC San Diego Chapter. Raquel is an expert in needs analysis and client service resolution, who's background includes extensive underwriting experience, contracting, financial analysis, claims analysis, benefit analysis, client services and Trust consulting. She provides additional support for claims issues and day to day plan administration.

Mr. Leon is a Group Health Insurance Professional with over 35 years of experience in the industry. He has worked with several large insurance carriers over his career in both Operations and Sales. Mr. Leon also has experience in Third Party Administration services as the foundation of his early career. He is responsible for General Operations as well as all aspects of Marketing, Services and Personnel oversight. Additionally, he handles trust management, renewals, and negotiations.
Christina is a seasoned insurance professional with over 20 years of experience in all aspects of Group Health Benefits. With expert knowledge in Benefit Administration, she is able to provide invaluable assistance and timely service to our clients and vendors alike. Christina is an expert in the installation and servicing of our Human Resource Management System and manages all facets of administration for West Coast Group Benefits.
Sabrina has 10 years of administrative support in the health / group health insurance industry. She is customer service oriented and has been very successful in managing and providing a high level of customer support at every level. Sabrina has extensive experience in working with all the major carriers in terms of negotiations and problem resolution.

Phil Piel founded West Coast Group Benefits with Patrick Flynn. Phil passed away in 2010. Phil was a consultant specializing in Employee Benefit programs for Trade Contractors. He was a recognized expert in prevailing wage employee benefit plans for non-union contractors and had conducted prevailing wage seminars for a number of construction associations including the Associated General Contactor's, Associated Builders & Contactor's, and the American Subcontractors Association.
